HEALING THE ANCESTRAL LINES: 3
Community Dismantling of Patterns in the Collective

HEALING THE ANCESTRAL LINES: 3
Community Dismantling of Patterns in the Collective

The experiential and experimental collective application of LMC’s advanced ancestral healing protocols to liberate people and their power from patterns of systemic dominance, injustice, and autocracy held in the miasma of unwell ancestors. This adventure is lead by Christina Lee Pratt, initiator of The Last Mask Center Cycle Teachings

In our time, the deep water of transformational work is the true dismantling of systemic patterns of injustice, coercion, exploitation, and “whiteness”.

We have all felt challenged by these patterns one way or another in healing, clearing, and life. They feel so big, old, and complex as to be immoveable.

And some feel the challenge much more than others due to the color of their skin, whom they love, how they move through the world, or the resources they have access to.

These systemic patterns in the collective are too big for an individual to change alone.

But we are the collective.
We are the problem.
We are the transformation of that problem.

Dismantling Collective Patterns is moving out into the deep water…

And here in the Last Mask Center Online Community we all know how to swim, how to navigate in open seas, and how to make allies of sea monsters.

Dismantling Collective Patterns is moving out into the deep water strategically and skillfully together to co-create with Spirit and the Earth’s dreaming a path to a different future than the one we inherited.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
How we will work:
The process begins with a live class or large group on September 7th. We select our focus for this effort in 2024.

This will continue every other Saturday at 9:00 AM Pacific time for 3 months. In large group we share our work and discoveries, discuss what it all implies, get on the same page for the strategy of the next steps, and break out into small groups and assignments. We journey, collaborate, and share in small groups and then roll everything back to the large group to refocus the next 2 weeks.

In this way discover together the emergent arc of the needed transformational process for the focus as it unfolds through our ancestral healing and ritual work together. We will have one main event, during which we journey simultaneously to execute the plan. The next day we debrief and celebrate, take a break, and resume with a new project in the next year.
Typical actions we will be taking together:

How I learned to “swim in the dark water”
When we move into the deep water of change and transformation we don’t want to be out there with people who just barely swim or who haven’t ever really been out of a swimming pool. As online community members, most of you don’t know the full story of Last Mask Center, the Cycle of Transformation, and my experience moving people into this type of work. Even Why Shamanism Now listeners may not know that the teachings began in 1990, two decades before the first podcast episode.

After my initiatory experience changed me, I continued having spontaneous transformational experiences under the tutelage of 4 specific helping spirits. Each helping spirit and their teachings became one year of the four years of The Cycle of Transformation. Bringing people into the Cycle began my training in how to move people into the deep waters of personal transformation in safe, effective, and efficient ways.

At the end of the second decade the manuscript for An Encyclopedia of Shamanism was submitted and several simultaneous ventures became the next phase: Individuals relearning how to be in relationship and in community. These new projects involved working with spirit and new applications of the teachings to move individuals, all in deep transformation, into communities, like The Cycle Teachings Community and collectives, like the WSN workgroups around the world.

Each venture was a different way that the human (me) brought the teachings from spirit into action in the world. Each effort is a cutting edge application of authentic, non-traditional shamanism in contemporary life. You see, these are not my teachings. The Cycle and its Cosmology are learned from spirit. However, how we do it, learn it, apply it, and live it to the standard set by spirit is my gift to you.

That a really short version of how I learned to swim myself and move out of the “pool” of contemporary life and entered the live water. And then to teach others to swim well enough to move out into the live water themselves. And then the realization that no one swims alone. We are all connected and swimming in the deep water requires that we learn again to live in true community with all living things. There is no inbetween.

This is my invitation: Join me and continue this growing tradition. We are adventurers and explorers on a rescue mission. We are not only individuals in transformation sharing community. We are people into the deep waters of personal transformation sharing community, and moving together to apply our collective efforts toward the safe, effective, and efficient transformation of how humans inhabit and share this world.

And there is one thing at the center of it all—Love, fierce and passionate, for all life.

Thank you for trusting me on this journey.

FAQS

What are the days and times?
Live Class/Large Group time is every other Saturday at 9:00 AM Pacific time, starting September 7th through November 23rd (The project) and 24th (Debrief and Celebration)

Small Group times will be determined by groups and projects as we go. They will meet in the alternate weeks from Live Class.

Do I have to attend all weeks or can I just attend some?
You will need to attend the large group classes twice a month or listen to the recordings. And you will need to attend your small work group’s sessions. The day/time will be determined by the small work group.

Will the sessions be recorded? What if I can’t join at the scheduled time?
All large group classes will be recorded and posted to the course website.

How will groups be assigned?
Current workgroups are welcome to stay together. In this work, groups also form around tasks, things to explore, and skills to apply. Other groups can organize by convenience in day/time to work together.

I am already in a group for <insert class> can we stay together?
Any functional group is welcome to stay together. Groups that are too small are welcome to invite new people.

Are study groups optional?

With the course requirement to meet every week, either in large or small groups, Study Groups seem excessive. We do not plan to tend Study Groups and are open to what emerges.

Will there be study groups specific for BIPOC, LGBTQ+
As needed depending on who attends.

What does "active" mean in the pre-requisites?
(Ex. HAL1: Basic and an active Ancestral Shrine practice,  Energy Body Clearing and an active clearing practice, Energy Body Mastery and an active self-care practice)
Active means you are doing the practice most days, some days feel better than others, somedays are quicker than others, but overall you are actually using the practices in your life to develop your relationship with helping spirit, coalesce your sense of center and grounding, and learn to resource yourself.

I have completed the course and I am doing <insert practice>. Is that considered active?
Yes.

I have taken the class and I am going to start actively doing <insert practice>, if I am planning on being active now, does that count as active?
No. But we strongly encourage you to act on your plan and join us next year.
